Weekend News
Tristan - I was joking with baby and also I did some playing in my room. I did some safari diving and I did some fixing engine with daddy. Mommy and daddy help me go to sleep in my new bed. I spend time with mom and dad having some hot cocoa and cookies.
Blaise - I play with my pop-pop and mommy. I took a shower and then eat eggs and toast with only jelly.
Isabelle - I went to basketball game at school and I see Blaise. I was playing tag with my dad and we laugh so much that was yesterday and we wait my couscous was done.
Oz - I go to hotel and I go to March with mommy and daddy and Ever. I had sign and it say, "Girls rule." Ever sign say, "Girl can do anything."
Phoenix - I play my mom and I go get food with mommy. Then I went back home.
Emma - I was playing with my baby. I did a cannonball at the beach. I go my mommy bed. I go playground with daddy and mommy and baby. I go down slide with mommy. I eat gummy bears at home.
James - I went in a little maze and then a super big maze. I went in the slide bouncy house. I got three apple and they were in a bathtub.
Alycia - I went to bed at night. I play with my big Ariel doll it my favorite toy. I did Zumba workout with my mom.
Rowan - I play with my mom and dad. I ate pizza and I read books with mommy.
Reyn - I play outside with my daddy. I play downstairs. I went to the beach with daddy and mommy and baby Jag. I go home and then I play at the playground.
Hayden - I was playing truck with Taylor. I was having a good time and I drive daddy's car. I hug my mommy. That's it.
Ekin - I play my toys. I eat my cake and drink.
Ben - The first day I ate breakfast with my mom and my dad. And then my grammy and poppy come and mommy and daddy leave cause it was their anniversary. I went to the zoo with my grammy and poppy. The next day I play my toys and my brother.
Melanie - I went pumpkin picking. I play with my truck and I spin it around in a circle. We took Piper my dog for walk. Mommy and daddy and me and EJ went to pick apple. All of us went. I went to Giant and I buy blueberries and pineapple and cantaloupe.
Clarke - I was at the hotel and I saw you guys celebrating Ekin's birthday. I ate breakfast at the hotel and I went to the beach next to the hotel. I ate dinner with my mommy and daddy at the hotel. I get to play with mommy and daddy. I watch the sunrise and I went to the toy store and the shirt store.
Today in music class with Keisha we explored with instruments at the beginning of class. Followed by cleaning up, making a circle and singing our hello song in different languages. Our Cardinals continued to do an amazing job with singing.

Keisha started to sing the Cobbler song and by mid-way our Cardinals were singing all by themselves!! Keisha told the Cardinals how impressed and proud she was of them! Keisha then gave each Cardinal two music egg shakers. Friends sang, danced and followed directions with their eggs shakers as Keisha played the guitar!
Tuesday
Alicia started Spanish class by greeting us at the door. Alicia then said hello to each Cardinal in Spanish and friends replied in Spanish with help from Alicia.
Alicia: Buenos días, ________. (Good morning ______.)
Student: Buenos días Alicia.
Alicia: ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?)
Student: Muy bien. (Very good) OR así-así (so-so) OR no muy bien (Not very good)
Alicia then did the chime on the singing bowl and the Cardinals began a moment of silence. Alicia taught us the words for head, eyes, shoulder, knee, feet, ears, mouth, and nose. We then did the head-n-shoulder song in Spanish.

This week it was Blaise's turn to squeezed La Vaca!
The Cardinals spent time in the gym engaging in large motor fun!
The Cardinals were back in the gym today, this time to have gym class with Josh and Lisa. This week friends explored different objects that one can throw. We threw and caught yarn balls, tossed colorful scarves into the air, as well as threw and slid bean bags across the floor. When manipulating the various items, we learned how each one of them moved differently in the air and across the floor. At the end of class, we shared which one we liked best and why. Ask your Cardinal what they liked playing with the best!
Thursday
This morning after choice time, morning meeting and snack, each Cardinal created a painting of choice. We used red, green, yellow and blue paint. Friends were very eager to have a turn as we took turns painting in groups of three. The end results are amazing and will be displayed in the classroom once dry.
The Cardinals explored with clay in art class. Amanda told us that today we were going to play with clay by pulling, rolling, patting, pressing, making shapes, letters and numbers. We added a little water to the clay to make it soft. If it was too hard to work with, friends broke the clay into small pieces and began to manipulate the clay. Amanda let us know that next week we will be making something that we will keep forever.
Choice Time
Friday
Today Michelle and Ashanti welcomed us into the library. Ashanti read us three books, I Want That Nut, My Monster Mama Loves Me So, and Pokko And The Drum. Each Cardinal got to pick and check out a new library book.
